Hi guys! This time I would keep my intro simple because I have a lot to tell you guys. Basically I would like to tell you my experience staying in a villa in Bandung, where it is known for its fresh air and cold breeze, well not too cold now though. I’ll tell you guys about the calculation as well, as detail as I can. So let’s continue directly to my experience.
Have you ever heard of the saying" High school will be the most memorable time of your life". Well, for me that is indeed true. Being in the social class with them made me enjoy most of my high school life. High school doesn’t feel that boring or hard, because they were there to accompany me every step of the way. So my classmates and I decided to go on a farewell trip to Bandung, a three days and 2 nights stay. We booked a villa online, which cost us per person around 300.000 - 400.000 rupiah, including all the accommodation needs and food in the villa that was already arranged, as well as our bbq night later on.
We went on the 27th of May, and our first stop was a restaurant that sadly I forgot what the name was, to eat lunch. Our menu was called Nasi Liwet, where we all gathered around several tables put together and used banana leaves as the “plate” of our food. Nasi Liwet is an Indonesian traditional dish, where the rice was cooked in coconut milk, chicken broth and several spices. This dish usually would be eaten with friend chicken, fried tofu, fried soy bean, and lettuce leaf nowadays. Nasi Liwet comes from Solo, Central Java, Indonesia. Even though it is a traditional food, we all enjoyed it, because we could talk to each other face to face while eating delicious food. At that time Nasi Liwet was quite booming, that’s why my friend who organized it chose for us to eat that menu. The food plus a cup of tea had a quite pricey amount, it was around 70.000 rupiah at that time. Another enjoyable part of the restaurant was that it has a quite big garden, and so we took several pictures so that we could keep them as a memory.

After finishing off, we went directly to our villa that we booked. It was called Manoko Ville and was located in Lembang, West Bandung. Lembang known being in the upper part of Bandung has a road that goes uphill as well. So, to reach the villa we have to go uphill, but would have to go down a bit to reach the exact location of our villa. The road we went through was quite narrow and small. To drive there, I would say you got to be good at driving to go through the narrow and small road. To move you got to take turns with other motor bikes and cars. Just try to imagine it. But when we reached the villa, we all love how the villa look. It was exactly just like in the picture we saw. It was the perfect place for us, as we all planned to just stay at the villa and enjoy each others' presence. Right below is short video of a villa tour I did.
When night came out, we decided to go out to eat dinner at a place called Sudirman Street, it's a street section where there are a lot of shops full of different kinds of cuisines. So my friend, Verga, and I separated with the others to search for food that fits to our taste, guess what we found it! We decided to eat Swieke. It is basically frog, and could be cooked with soup or fried or cooked with soy sauce and butter. I know it would look weird for some of you guys, but once you tried it there will be no turning back. The food cost me around 20.000-30.000 rupiah including rice. After we finished our meal, a few of my other friends who searched for a place to seat called us all and so we gather there and talked until we all finished our food. Not to forget, we took some pictures and video, just like these ones.
After finishing our foods, the fun part begins. It's grocery shopping time! As we planned to do a bbq night for the next day. We separated our ways to buy different kinds of necessities we need for the bbq night. We bought sausages, meatballs, meat, fries, also sauces to enhanced the flavors of the meat, and also several soda drinks. Here's a video my friend recorded to show our experience.

Our bbq night started pretty early, as the girls were assigned to prepare the ingredients for the food. We put the sausages and meatball to the skewers. We also fried the fries as good as we can. As you guys can see in the video below, we really enjoyed each others' company. Look how fun it was to joke around each other without getting mad at all.
After preparing the ingredients, it was the boys' turn to grill the meat, sausages and meatball. After we grill all the ingredients we all ate and chatted our way out. We share our feelings, pour out certain things we want to, saying sorry to each other for the bad things that we had done, things that may hurt each other. So the night goes on very long. We all slept at 5 A.M. Even though during our last night we didn't get enough sleep, and was warned by some people around the area because we were too loud, I was glad we could get together and share our feelings out to each other. We never know when we will have the chance to get to do this kind of thing again.
The next day we all packed out bags and prepare to go home. And so the trip ends with us going to the mall, enjoying more of each others' presence.
I, personally really do enjoy this kind of trip and would love to do it again with my loved ones. Below is a mini video of what we did throughout the whole farewell trip. Hope you guys enjoy!
